TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: July 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at unconventionalgroup.ca (the “Site”) and any services, software, tools, or deliverables provided by Unconventional Group Inc. (“Unconventional Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

1. Who We Are

Unconventional Group Inc. is an Edmonton, Alberta-based company operating across three areas: marketing & sales services, business automation, and software. This includes our trade names and affiliated brands AltaPro AI (business automation and AI systems) and Bespoke Automations (custom automation software). References to “our services” in these Terms include work delivered under any of these brands unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

2. Our Services

We provide, among other things: website design and development; social media and content; advertising and lead generation; funnels and conversion optimization; e-commerce and AI visibility work; business automation; custom software; and AI-powered tools such as our free website audit (Odin), on-site assistant/chat, and intake tools. The specific scope, fees, timeline, and deliverables for any paid engagement are set out in a separate proposal, quote, statement of work, or written agreement (“Engagement Terms”). Where Engagement Terms conflict with these Terms, the Engagement Terms control for that engagement.

3. Quotes, Fees & Payment

  • Quotes are estimates based on the scope described and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Fees, deposits, and payment schedules are set out in your Engagement Terms.
  • Unless stated otherwise, invoices are due on receipt, and late or unpaid amounts may pause active work.
  • Third-party costs (ad spend, domains, hosting, software licenses, plugins, stock assets) are your responsibility unless expressly included in your quote.

4. Client Responsibilities

To deliver on time we rely on you to provide accurate information, content, access, and timely feedback and approvals. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and rights to any materials you provide to us, and for ensuring your business complies with the laws that apply to it (including advertising, consumer, and anti-spam laws such as Canada’s CASL for any messaging campaigns we run on your behalf).

5. Deliverables & Intellectual Property

Upon full payment for an engagement, you own the final deliverables produced specifically for you (such as your website content and design), except for: (a) third-party materials, open-source components, fonts, and stock assets, which remain governed by their own licenses; and (b) our pre-existing tools, frameworks, code libraries, templates, and know-how, which remain our property and which we may license to you as needed to use the deliverables. We may reference completed, public work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.

6. Software, AI Tools & Automation

Some of our services rely on artificial intelligence, automation, and third-party platforms. AI-generated output (including audits, recommendations, chat responses, and automated messages) can contain errors and is provided for general informational purposes — it is not professional, legal, financial, or tax advice, and you should review it before relying on it. Automation and software are provided on an ongoing basis and may depend on third-party services that change or become unavailable. We do not guarantee specific business results, rankings, lead volumes, or revenue.

7. Third-Party Services

The Site and our services integrate third-party platforms — including hosting, databases, analytics, AI providers, email and SMS delivery, scheduling, advertising networks, and payment processors. Your use of those features may be subject to the third party’s own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services, and links from the Site to third-party sites are provided for convenience only.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Site or our tools — including attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with or overloading our systems, scraping or reverse-engineering our software, submitting unlawful content, or using our tools to send spam or violate the rights of others.

9. Disclaimers

The Site and our free tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site or tools will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unconventional Group Inc. and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid engagement will not exceed the amount you paid us for that engagement in the three months before the claim arose.

11. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to protect the other’s non-public business information shared during an engagement and to use it only to perform or receive the services. This does not apply to information that is public, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.

12. Termination

Either party may end an engagement as set out in the applicable Engagement Terms. On termination, you remain responsible for fees for work performed and non-cancellable costs incurred up to that point. Sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and confidentiality) will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Alberta will have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any dispute-resolution process in your Engagement Terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they were last revised, and continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
